The Armonk Outdoor Art Show will return for its 61st year on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1. This highly regarded annual show is ranked among the top fine art shows in the country and is proud to showcase work from 140 exceptional, juried artists from across the country and abroad. This year we are excited to host more than 40 artists as first-time exhibitors at the show along with many of our most popular returning artists. Exhibitors represent every type of medium and a broad range of price points, assuring there will be something for everyone.
Our expansive Family Activities Tent is a highlight of the show and offers a ton of complimentary hand’s-on art projects for children throughout the weekend. Some highlights of what families can expect this year include:
·Abrakadoodle- where kids will design their own buttons
·DIY Slime- for slime making of course
·EduThroughArt - teaching saltwater color painting
·Masha Dasha Designs - will create art with recyclables
·HomeGrown Gardens- allows kids to decorate and plant a pot
The Rye Art Center, ArtsMobile, Michael Albert Sir Real Coloring Project, and many more, will entertain kids with a creative outlet all weekend long. Don’t miss the show-wide scavenger hunt where kids can earn a prize by tracking down the answers to the artist clues! Families can spend all day with our great selection of food vendors offering a large variety of foods, snacks, wine, beer, and cocktails.
All net proceeds from the show go to the Friends of the North Castle Public Library, ultimately supporting its two branches in Armonk and North White Plains. These funds allow the library to continue its vibrant educational and entertainment programs, as well as the Armonk Players theater group.
