Montgomery, NY—Today, Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, Inc. (GSHH) is kicking off the countdown to its 2023 Girl Scout Cookie season in the Hudson Valley, which begins on Friday, February 10, 2023, as Girl Scouts and their troops rally their communities to support the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls. Every box of cookies sold provides invaluable experiences for Girl Scouts such as service projects, troop travel, and summer camp for girls across the country.
Beginning Friday, February 10th, if you know a Girl Scout, ask if and how they are selling cookies. Girls will sell and take orders in person, and can receive cookie orders via Digital Cookie®, to personally deliver cookies to their local customers. Starting February 27, consumers can order their favorite cookies for shipment, directly to their front door, including the new Raspberry Rally™ cookie. In addition to online ordering, consumers can use the Cookie Finder to locate a booth near them, beginning March 10th, and purchase cookies in-person from girls at the iconic cookie booths.
Helen Wronski, Interim CEO of GSHH said of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, “The Girl Scout Cookie Program is a time honored tradition that provides our Girl Scouts with the opportunity to get out into their communities and demonstrate what they’ve learned through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, particularly in the life skills and entrepreneurial pillars. The skills practiced and honed through this program will benefit the Girl Scouts throughout the rest of their lives in academic and professional pursuits. The delicious cookies are an added bonus!”
Girl Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA) is excited to welcome Planet Oat Oatmilk as a national sponsor of the 2023 Girl Scout Cookie Program. Girl Scouts champion millions of girls as they learn, grow, and thrive through adventure, and Planet Oat Oatmilk is proud to support these efforts as a national sponsor of the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Consumers can learn more about product pairings and how Girl Scouts and Planet Oat are partnering to build girls of courage, confidence, and character.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls. Girl Scouts’ newly updated Financial Literacy badges offer entrepreneurial playbooks for every age level. From the Cookie Goal Setter badge earned as a Daisy to the Entrepreneur Accelerator for girls in high school, the Girl Scout Cookie Program teaches girls financial literacy, planning, budgeting, teamwork, innovative thinking, and confident decision making. New this year, Raspberry Rally is exclusively offered through digital channels for direct shipment only, enhancing girls’ e-commerce sales and entrepreneurial skills. This latest approach will help to guide the evolution of the cookie program for the digital future.
