I've been using the Weleda Salt toothpaste for 3 years now. I've always suffered from dental problems, my teeth have suffered from having 4 babies in 10 years and like most moms we don't prioritize taking care of ourselves. I came across Weleda products at a local store and the product immediately appealed to me. All natural, basic ingredients and no artificial flavors, dyes or perfumes. At my dental check up my dentist commented how healthy my gums were! The visit prior he told me I was going to need to start coming more frequently because my gums were in poor shape and now he was raving about how healthy my gums were! At that point Weleda had a customer for life.
The moms that had the chance to sample the products were happy to learn that the products were safe for their infants and everyone agreed that they were drawn to the products because they are made with nurturing plant oils like almond, sesame and protective beeswax and lanolin. With 80% of their raw materials are organic, biodynamic they manage our own Biodynamic gardens in Germany where they grow the calendula for the baby care line.
Weleda USA has been providing healthy personal products since 1921. Founded by Dr. Rudolf Steiner, who created Biodynamic agriculture and the Waldorf Schools. Weleda pioneered the use of Biodynamic and organic ingredients in skin care. Their national Headquarters is in Switzerland but something that always has made me love Weleda even more is their US Headquarters in right in Irvington, NY! Makes me even more proud to be a New Yorker!
