Macaroni In Motion
Channel your inner Dorothy Hamill!
Three years ago, my daughters, then 3 and 7, decided their winter activity would be ice skating. On the recommendation of an Ardsley parent, we signed them right up for the Fall session at Westchester Skating Academy (WSA). Samantha took off...gaining confidence as she flew through the different levels. Emma took one step on the ice, flopped right down in her cherry red snowpants and that was the end of that; for that moment anyway. One of the cheery, young instructors sailed right over and within 2 minutes, had Emma snuggled between her arms, gliding across the ice. She was hooked.
One of the best things about taking skating lessons at the WSA, are the additional free passes you receive to practice on any Public Session during the semester. My husband and I would take the girls for their lessons, stop for lunch and join the Public Session later that day.

At The Westchester Skating Academy, they are committed to fostering the development of every skater, of every age. The "Learn to Skate" program teaches the sport of skating to enthusiast from three years old through adulthood.
Next Semester Starts: January 2th, 2010 - March 6th, 2011.
