WHUD announces pop music sensation and chart topper, Tiffany Giardina!

Tiffany will highlight a day of education and fun at the 17th Annual Kids Fair with an upbeat performance of original music and popular cover songs.  In 2010, Tiffany became a Radio Disney chart topper for her song, I’m Not Crazy, and most recently was cast as an animated voice in this summer’s  Barbie movie, The Princess and the Pop Star, for which Mattel will issue a doll in her likeness. Having opened for acts like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, the now 18 year-old Waccabuc resident is taking her music in a more mature direction and has released her latest pop/dance single Secrets, available on iTunes

Tiffany will perform in The County Center Little Theater at 1:00p.m. and will be signing autographs and taking photos at the 107.1 WHUD booth prior to her performance.

The Kids Fair will feature dozens of activities for kids and their families, including science and the environment, sports and entertainment, and various games. 100.7 WHUD Radio, The Hudson Valley’s Music and Information Station, will be broadcasting live and will put kids “on the air” at the announcer booth.

News12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck will be taking photos with kids at the weather wall, and Westchester County Parks will have many activities and demonstrations including farm animals from Muscoot Farm of Somers, photos with Coaster the Dragon, putt-putt golf from the County Jr. Golf Camp, and The Be-Fit-Mobile.

The Kids Fair presenting sponsor, the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, will have a photo station, as well as giveaways and a video tour of the children’s hospital. Attendees will also be able to meet the Director of the Pediatric Emergency Department.

Kids Fair sponsor Con Edison will host Teatown Reservation and Groundwork Hudson Valley. Teatown Reservation will educate children and families on creating compost bins, while Groundwork Hudson Valley will promote environmental activities.

The Kids Fair benefits The H.O.P.E. for Youth Foundation and children’s charities in the Hudson Valley and is presented by The Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. Sponsors include Westchester County Parks, Con Edison, and Westchester Subaru.

The Tiffany performance is free as are all activities once inside the fair. Westchester County Center,198 Central Avenue, White Plains, NY 10606.
