Hurry limited shows left

I have been looking for something to do with my daughter, Gia for months now. She is fourteen and at an age where some of the things mom wants to do aren't so cool. When the opportunity came to review Fuerza Bruta I knew this would be a great show to take her and a few of her friends to. We spent the afternoon  in the city doing our usual spots and really were excited that there is now a Dylans Candy Bar right in Union Square! We stopped in for a quick treat than headed over to the theater. I hadn't told Gia much about the show other than she will be standing the whole time and she would get wet!

You start off by walking into a dimly lit room with dance music playing. This really took me back more years than I'd like to admit and brought back some very fun memories of going to clubs. When the show starts the staff members give very specific instructions and ask you, when you're asked to move that you move freely around the room. The show starts with a man walking along a conveyor belt, which reminded me of walking through life the day by day dealing with everyday stuff. Eventually he blasts through a wall of boxes and the show gets very exciting!

From girls swimming in a translucent stage that is over head to doing cartwheels on the walls the show is non stop excitement but when it started raining inside the room just erupts in excitement. Loud music, strobe lights and this energy that pulsates throughout the room you are completely entranced and for seventy minutes just taken away from everyday stresses.

Fuerza Bruta is not recommended for children under eight but for me I wouldn't take a child under 12. This is very mature setting with adults. People are dancing, the lights are low and you are jostled around. I would absolutely see this show again and I would recommend this show for parents with older kids or as a date night! Warning if you are claustrophobic this show is NOT for you. At one point the stage over head is lowered to where you can actually touch it!
